Individualized Reading Tutoring

Service Description

Do you want your child to improve their reading? If so, I'm your girl! I began tutoring online, after teaching in the classroom for over 4 years. I've found that I am typically able to close a student's reading gap much more quickly online one-on-one than I ever could in the public school classroom. Trends among my students show that they improve at least one full grade level within just 10-12 hours of tutoring. (Places like Sylvan normally charge $50/hour for "small group" instruction and claim to close the reading gap in 36 hours of tutoring. I generally guide students in closing the gap much more quickly, meaning you would pay way less with me in the long run. I specialize in a multi-sesnory approach, which can support students who need hands-on learning. Once I assess your child to identify strengths and weaknesses with each reading skill, we will get started on an individualized remediation plan. I’m ready to help your child build his or her confidence as a star reader!
